Project Overview

MyNomadPlace is a travel companion built around a simple promise — “your home away from home” — pairing curated destination content with a searchable travel blog.

The Challenge

Travel content is everywhere but hard to navigate. The aim was to combine genuine first-hand destination writing with a fast, searchable structure so visitors quickly find relevant places and trip inspiration.

The Approach & Solution

• Destination search — jump straight to a travel destination.
• Travel blog — long-form, first-hand destination articles.
• SEO-focused structure — built to rank for destination queries.

TYPO3 serves as the content backend with a statically-delivered Next.js/React frontend (headless, over REST), which keeps Core Web Vitals scores at the top end. The destination content sits on an SEO-driven page structure and draws on several years of real, first-hand travel writing — genuinely useful content that earns its rankings rather than chasing them.

A Hands-On Growth Experiment

MyNomadPlace is also a deliberate testbed. I use it to experiment with content and social-media growth in public — across TikTok, YouTube and Instagram — so the strategies I bring to client projects are grounded in what actually moves reach and engagement, not theory. What works here becomes a repeatable playbook I can apply to other brands and products.
