Project Overview
felix-dziekan.de is my personal home base on the web — freelance profile, project portfolio and a tech blog where I document what I build, what I break, and what I wish someone had written down first.
The Challenge
As a freelancer I wanted one place that does three jobs at once: present who I am, showcase the products I’ve built, and publish long-form technical writing — under a single, fast, self-owned platform rather than scattered third-party profiles.
The Approach & Solution
- Freelance profile — skills, experience and a clear call to action.
- Portfolio — this section, with a dedicated page per project.
- Tech blog — articles on PHP, Symfony, TYPO3, React and DevOps.
- SEO foundation — structured data and metadata baked into the templates.
Built on TYPO3 with a custom theme in Fluid and TypoScript, running on PHP and containerised with Docker for reproducible local development and deployment. I own everything — design, theme, content and infrastructure.
