Project Overview

Diversplace.net is the biggest German-language diving lexicon — 600+ terms — and the successor to my old blog felixtravelblog.de, pairing dive-trip stories with a proper reference for divers. It’s built mainly on TYPO3, with TYPO3 as the content backend and a React frontend on my shared TYPO3 multisite.

The Challenge

My original travel blog had become outdated and wasn’t worth maintaining in its old form. Diversplace.net is the focused successor: a cleaner platform dedicated to diving content and a proper diving lexicon.

The Approach & Solution

  • Diving blog — dive trips, gear and underwater photography.
  • Diving lexicon — the largest German-language diving lexicon, 600+ structured terms.
  • SEO foundation — built to be found by divers searching specific topics.

Founder, developer and author — platform, content and ongoing maintenance. A focused niche site where the diving lexicon and the trip reports reinforce each other for both readers and search engines.
